FFFF Art- Me and My art Avatar

no, not art, FFFF stands for Fun Filled, Full Fledged artwork, derp derp

anyway, this is a project I force myself to do ENTIRELY WITH THE TABLET. the line art, coloring, smoke, everything, is all done with the tablet. I really wanted to use the mouse for some parts, but I made myself do it all with the tablet for practice. please excuse the line art, I made myself do it with the regular brush, forcing me to try and get used to the pressure sensitivity

(result: I need to practice with the pressure sensitivity feature of the tablet the most. also, the palette fleck doesn't come out as nice as I'd like with the tablet, need to keep using the tablet and adjusting the style to suit the tablet)

so that's me in my rolly chair, sitting and chilling with my cool fedora and a nice scarf (wish I had a scarf, but it's florida and I have no use for one >3<)

and behind me (lol, I made myself look 10 here XD) is my art avatar based on ~hajime-kuns idea of making an art avatar for yourself, and I'll call him Betzalel


le gasp ?!?! steam punk influences?!?!? instrumental influences (trumpet) ?!?!? biblical references (the name) !?!?!? a TV HEAD (lol, blame P4 for my love of TV screens)!?!? why would I ever represent myself with that?!?! and why no pokemans?!?!?!

well, pokemon are cool and all, but I want to branch off from that, and this is how I choose to represent myself. the steampunk for me being mostly a digital artist now (my traditional sucks mostly) and all the other stuff is pretty self explanatory, such as the balloons because I love balloons (and I colored them with palettes similar to toya, like in my avatar) and the trumpet influences as I like a hint of jazz and all that in my OSTs

so yeah, tried to make a smoke/steam like effect with my palette fleck style, and I think it turned out fairly cool. the art looked like it was missing something, so I added a stand on the bottom last minute to touch it up

this was so FFFFun, now back to coloring a line art (will do *Road-safetys line art for her contest next)
