Sorry about this page, parts get a bit ranty and drag on in the bathroom scene. I should have condensed it

to those waiting for their cameos in for the cast signing event, sorry, but that isn't happening until page 46, some extra characterization ended up in than originally planned, and I'm not just going to put a cameo in for a sake of a cameo, it needs to serve a purpose. so yeah, just be a bit more patient


felt like I needed to show a weaker side to Eric/establish more of a connection with Elesa, so enjoy a characterization kind of page.

also, I've never really seen a more serious approach to being rejected in a nuzlocke, I've seen joke ones and stuff, but nothing really along how post rejection goes.


misinterpretations like this aren't actually all that uncommon, I really don't get why girls use date and couple when talking with friends that are boys when they don't mean dating and such. it's really confusing and easy to get the wrong impression

this page is a good example of why I take so long to progress at times, I can get detoured with characterizing quite easily. nothing wrong with that though, just means it takes longer than I plan to do things in the comic

some of this ended up sappier than it should be and seems out of tone for the comic, but this is an important set up for plot later on, bear with it


also ended up getting in a reference joke to serve the purpose of splitting up aoshi and Eric for a bit to give some other pokemon a share of the screentime, and portal worked nicely there. it's been awhile since I touched portal so hope i did the portals in the right order of in/out color wise and stuff like that.
